Dear Ms. Roberts -
The preliminary assessment questions are the first step in the interview process for this position. The purpose of the questions is to assess your understanding of the position / role, your diligence in seeking out answers to questions you may not be as familiar with, and your enthusiasm for becoming part of the AESTHETICATION surgical family. Please answer the questions below as thoroughly as possible. The quicker that you are able to submit your responses, the more professional you will look compared to other applicants. Position Overview

AESTHETICATION seeks out an ambitious surgical professional looking to help grow a private practice with state-of-the-art surgical facilities into a prestigious institution and community of the Greater San Diego Area.
Compensation & Benefits:
Base Salary (Negotiable): $125,000
Bonus Annual (Paid Quarterly): Up to 50% of base salary
Medical: (PPO Plan); Dental (MetLife); Vision (Optional)
401K Plan - 100% match up to 6% of pre-tax contributions
$1,500 monthly clothing stipend for practice development, social events and patient surgical consultations (business suits)
Full reimbursement of educational certifications and licensing fees
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree (Health-Related Profession Preferred but not Required)
Attend a formal program to obtain a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification during apprenticeship period
After CST and additional experience, desire to become one of Dr. Abiloma’s “First Assistants” in the Trauma Operating Room
Desire to learn the fundamentals of surgical first assisting from the ground up (8-month training)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
Desire to learn to be a top-tier scrub and first assistant in the sterile field (6-month training)
Ability to stay at ‘top of the game’ in the sterile field assisting the surgeon, while also ensuring other surgical team members are performing at their highest levels.
Ambition to constantly learn and improve new surgical techniques.
Digital marketing lead and ‘face of the practice’ in the community.
Presence at prestigious social events throughout community
Desire to attend networking events to promote the practice, build a clientele and drive strong alliances with the community.
Desire to eventually build a skin care and / or aesthetics practice with additional training in injectibles.
Requirements:
60% Operative (Operating Room First Assisting); 30% Public Relations; and, 10% Building a Strategy for an Aesthetics Practice.
Become a leader for other surgical team members.
Ability to demonstrate poise and perform during acute patient intraoperative emergencies (i.e. code on the table)
Ability to show ‘executive presence’ during patient consultations that combines physical appearance, strong communication skills, and articulation of the surgical process.
Ability to act in an objection, emotionless, with a ‘best for the patient’ manner for each case.
Always strive to showcase the prestige and capabilities of the practice.
Represent the practice at conferences and other events across the country.
